There’s no denying it’s been a very challenging few years trying to work around severe osteoarthritis in my shoulder. Those challenges still remain now.

Two keyhole surgeries with Dr Ali Noorani and extensive physio with Radu Dumitrescu alongside regular sports massage with Louise Craig has given me some hope, but I want more.

This has led me to see a leading expert in his field Dr Ansar Mahmood at KYZN Clinic. My treatments were done just over a week ago and the early signs are promising, but I won’t rush the recovery process.

I am still in competition prep, with plans to compete this year when both myself and my coach feel the time is right. We both know there is higher levels still yet to be unlocked and they will.
