The Lore of Sir Pentious in Hazbin Hotel

Sir pentious is one of the main cast members in the show, but what is his lore and how did he die?

Sir pentious was a famous inventor and supervillain when he was alive. He died in his 40s in 1888. We don’t know exactly how he died, his appearence has led to the creation of two main theories. The first is that he died due to an invention of his and the second is that he died due to a snake bite.

His name is a mix of the words serpent, pretentious and pentagram.

This describes his personality pretty well. He’s a pretentious victorian era inventor who wants to become one of the pride ring’s overlords through his wacky inventions and army of egg minions.

During the pilot he was an antagonist, and vivzie said he was meant to be a one off villain. However during development this was changed with sir pentious instead being the second patron of the hazbin hotel, after angel dust.

Overall sir pentious looks like a fun character and i can’t wait to see him in the full show.
