Описание: Polling for byelections to 33 assembly seats across nine states and three Parliamentary constituencies in three states is being held today. Stakes are high in UP for the BJP and the ruling Samajwadi Party which will slug it out on the 11 assembly constituencies and the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat. UP also being fought in a charged atmosphere is being seen as a test for both Modi, who now represents Varanasi Lok Sabha seat and Amit Shah who was catapulted as party president on account of the impressive performance in Lok Sabha polls as the state in-charge.
