I did this one quite a while ago but only have gotten to uploading it now, only for someone else to do the same route (but in the opposite direction!) The positioning of my camera means that it's a bit closer to the street than one would like, but it seems to look OK.
The kind driver of this bus picked me up a small distance before the official first stop of the 231, allowing me to set up for the start. To make up for this, I forgot that Turnpike Lane Bus Station had reopened and stopped recording before entering the bus station. Oh well.
The bus was driven nice and fast (though stopped by loads of people wanting to get on, how annoying haha). Go-Ahead have been excellent in the refurbishing of these ex-First London buses - by using their interior styling but keeping to the colour scheme of First's awful interior. They look fantastic, unlike Metroline West's refurbs, which directly put the familiar blue red and yellow seat covering on a purple and teal interior (which absolutely clashes, by the way!!!)
Music chosen from a list of tracks someone on the bus forum recommended to me! Sure does fit.
