It was a crystal-clear but cold Seattle day, the kind of sharp winter air that makes the crowd noise even louder. Izzy Escobar delivered a powerful and emotional rendition of the anthem that set the perfect tone for kickoff.

At the end of the performance, the stadium was treated to an incredible military flyover — two CH-47 Chinook helicopters and one UH-60 Black Hawk — roaring low over the open roof of Lumen Field. The flyover was dramatic, close, and absolutely unforgettable for everyone in attendance.
