《成就可持續的未來》
千渝作為一位土生土長的香港學生，積極致力於推動可持續發展及社區變革。她成立了十人團隊，推出八集訪談節目 SustainaPod，專訪可持續發展領域的專家，深入探討如碳捕存技術及農業創新等議題，成功吸引來自全球逾千名聽眾，並獲聯合國協會及國際媒體的肯定。她又構思並領導研發 RecycleBot 自動化塑膠回收機械人，嘗試解決香港回收率下降的趨勢。在香港城市大學教授的協助下，她研究感應器、GPS 系統及塑膠分類演算法，將創新科技與環保結合，為可持續發展的未來貢獻力量。此外，千渝熱心社區服務，組織及領導多項公益計劃，包括國際志願服務、社區教育及環保活動，為基層及貧困人士提供支援，並推動青年參與社會事務。千渝相信，「傑出」並不僅限於個人成就，而是透過創新與行動，為社區及環境帶來長遠而積極的影響，以實現可持續發展的未來。

KWOK, Chinny Chin Yu (Chinny) | West Island School | Year 13
"Achieving a Sustainable Future"
As a native Hong Kong student, Chinny is actively committed to promoting sustainable development and community transformation. She established a ten-member team to launch SustainaPod, an eight-episode interview series featuring experts in the field of sustainability and delving into topics such as carbon capture technology and agricultural innovation. This initiative successfully attracted over a thousand listeners from around the world and was recognized by the United Nations Association and international media. She also created and led the development of RecycleBot, an automated plastic recycling robot, aiming to address the challenge of declining recycling rates in Hong Kong. With the assistance of professors from the City University of Hong Kong, she researched sensors, GPS systems, and plastic sorting algorithms, combining innovative technology with environmental preservation to contribute to a sustainable future. Chinny is also passionate about community service, organizing and leading various charitable programs, including international volunteer work, community education, and environmental activities, providing support to grassroots and low-income individuals, and encouraging youth participation in social affairs. Chinny believes that "excellence" is more than just personal achievements, but is about creating lasting and positive impacts on the community and the environment via innovation and action to achieve a sustainable future.


宣熙彤 Ariel｜英皇佐治五世學校｜十二年級
《繪出未來能源藍圖》
熙彤深信，唯有懷抱求知的心，才能成就真正的傑出。隨著對世界有更深入的理解，她逐漸意識到能源問題對人類生存與發展的重要性。帶著遠大的抱負與堅定的信念，她立志創造一個人人都能享有潔淨、可持續能源的世界。這份使命感驅使她深入探索能源系統的奧秘。她不僅在香港城市大學材料科學系實習，在實驗室中從零開始製造電池，更以 UNITAR 亞太青年大使的身份多次推廣自己的理念，讓更多人關注能源問題的緊迫性。她的研究並不局限於科學領域。在學習電力生成原理的同時，從地理課程中了解到能源分配的不平等現象，亦意識到科技必須與良好的社會經濟政策相輔相成，才能有效解決能源問題。熙彤認為每個人手中都有一支描繪未來的畫筆，只要保持對未知世界的好奇心，不斷追求新知識，就能畫出一個更美好的世界，實現理想中的能源藍圖。

SUEN, Ariel Hei Tung (Ariel) | King George V School | Year 12
"Drawing the Blueprint for Future Energy"
Ariel deeply believes that true excellence can only be achieved with a thirst for knowledge. As she gained a deeper understanding of the world, she gradually recognised the importance of energy issues for human survival and development. With ambitions and a dedicated belief, she is determined to create a world where everyone has access to clean and sustainable energy. This sense of mission motivates her to explore the mysteries of energy systems. She not only interned in the Department of Materials Science at the City University of Hong Kong, where she started from scratch to manufacture batteries in the lab, but also promoted her ideas as a UNITAR Asia-Pacific Youth Ambassador, raising awareness about the urgency of energy crisis. Her research is not limited to the scientific field. While studying the principles of electricity generation, she also recognised the inequalities in energy distribution from her geography classes and understood that technology must complement sound socio-economic policies to effectively address energy issues. Ariel believes that everyone holds a brush capable of painting the future. By maintaining curiosity about the unknown and continuously seeking new knowledge, we can collectively draw a better world and bring the dream of a sustainable energy blueprint to life.
