In this video I want to discuss kickdrum tuning as well as some other considerations to have when creating kickdrums or importing them into your track as a sample. First we will look at the creation of kick drums and tuning while synthesizing. The next i'll show is how I make sure the tuned kick still works well with my bassline. Finally I'll show you how to tune kick drums samples with a frequency shifter as well as a problem with frequency shifters to take into account.
