2002年に一般公募により「さくらの滝」と名付けられた３～４メートルほどの高さの滝。
滝自体は平凡ですが毎年5月から8月にかけて上流の産卵場所にに遡上していくサクラマスのジャンプが見られます。ちょうどタイミングがよかったのか、滝に向かって次々と挑んでいく姿を撮影することができました。
滝の上流を見てみると、実際に滝登りが成功するのは稀なようです。

Although the waterfall itself is common, the jump of the cherry salmon which is alike and ascends to the upstream spawning site from May to August every year is seen.
The figure to which timing is good and challenges one after another toward the waterfall exactly was able to be photoed.
It seems that it is rare that swimming up the rapids is actually successful when the upper stream of a waterfall is looked at.
