Our trip to Italy continues with a visit to Calabrese butchery in Montoro, Mortadella expert, the third-best mortadella in Italy, moist and very nicely textured.
Next, we moved to Nerona, Chef Mellino from Quatro Passi Hotel was waiting for us, they have a 2-star Michelin restaurant. We had pasta for lunch and then we toured the village.
The dinner a la carte was memorable, the calamari was not chewy, the spaghetti pomodoro was perfectly al dente, and the tomatoes were creamy.

Nerano is known for its intimate seafood reastaurants lining the waterfront of Marina del Cantone. You can eat at any of these and have a spectacular meal, especially if you order the local specialty, spaghetti alla Nerano (made with zucchini and local provolone cheese).
