I wrote this song when I was eighteen years for the competition between all churches that were under Mukono diocese in commemoration of the Uganda martyrs. This song went on to win the competition in the traditional songs category. I have written about one hundred songs, but this song has surpassed all of them. I first released this song in audio form in 2002. This video was to mark its twentieth anniversary. I co-produced this song with my "little? he is bigger than me" brother George William Musulira Kiberu. The man behind the mixer was the formidable JJ Otieno who meticulously took care of the voices of every instrument to have its space. The backing vocals were done by me, G.W.M Kiberu and Betty Nanyonga. Of the hundred songs or so that I have written, so many are much better than Empologoma Ya Yuda when it comes to the messages that are contained in the songs. For some reason, people only remember me by that song.
