Presentation Relocation Project European Medicines Agency (EMA)

Описание: We would like to invite you to a press conference, organised jointly by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport in the Netherlands, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the city of Amsterdam to present the plans for EMA’s relocation to Amsterdam.
On 20 November 2017, the EU 27 Member States decided in the margins of the General Affairs Council (Art. 50) that EMA will relocate to Amsterdam. The Agency will have to be fully operational in Amsterdam by 30 March 2019, the day when the UK withdraws from the EU. A move of that scale is a major operation, particular in view of the tight timeframe for completion.
This press conference is organised to present the necessary actions and preparations required by the Dutch Government and by EMA to make the relocation a success. It will be an opportunity for journalists to hear directly from key people involved in this project.

The Minister of Medical Care of the Netherlands, Bruno Bruins, EMA’s Executive Director Guido Rasi and Deputy Mayor of Amsterdam, Udo Kock, will provide some background on the project and the impact of EMA’s move to Amsterdam. This first part will take place at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport in the Hague.
