I hate this camera — and it’s the reason I fell in love with photography again.
The Fujifilm X-H1 came out in 2018.
It’s 2025, and somehow I’m still using it.
This isn’t a technical review or a specs comparison.
It’s my honest experience living with the X-H1: the film simulations, the colors, the simplicity… and yes, the autofocus that drives me insane.
Using this camera made me stop obsessing over settings and editing, and start caring about composition, light, and actually enjoying the process again. It also cost me missed shots at paid jobs — so this isn’t blind praise.
