Join me for a 72h winter session on The Racecourse Lake. Filmed in mid-December, there's all sorts of weather during the trip, strong wind, driving rain, sleet as well as some stunning sunrises. It's the first time I've fished this venue at this time of the year. What goes through my mind when choosing the spots to fish? How much bait do I use and how do I approach the unknown? Thankfully my tactics work as I end up landing a trio of lovely fish, topped by a cracking mid-twenty Yorkshire common.
