LIVE: Thousands of people took to the frigid streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota to protest the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement actions, particularly the deployment of thousands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in the city and state. Demonstrators—families, activists, clergy, labor unions and local residents—marched, rallied and chanted against federal immigration tactics they view as heavy-handed and unjust, demanding an end to the ICE deployment and changes to enforcement policies.
