Myth #1 Lifting will make you bulky...
Wrong. Strength training will rarely make women look "bulky". In fact, most women are happy with how they look in the mirror after following a strength training routine. Muscle definition will make you look better, healthier and we promise...following a workout program will not make you look like Arnold Schwarzenegger!
Myth #2 Lifting only builds muscle and does not help with fat loss...
Wrong. Strength training increases your metabolism, stimulating an increase in your bodies ability to burn fat. Counter to common beliefs, resistance training will help you lose body fat!
Myth #3 Lifting is only for strength athletes and bodybuilders...
Wrong. Here at Mind Pump, we promote resistance training for EVERYONE including women! All people should be strength training due to the overall positive benefits and lifestyle improvements that resistance training provides. Whether you are lifting barbells, dumbbells, or even using at home equipment like resistance bands, strength training should be embedded into your routine and will improve your quality of life in the short ad long term.
