Fertility patients know that treatment feel like being on a roller coaster. It's a time that can be full of optimism and disappointment, and because it can feel isolating, I include "Therapist" in my foundations of building your own Fertility TEAM (Therapist, Eating well, Acupuncture, and Mindfulness and Meditation are the basics).

Today, I'm honored to have Dr. Anna Glezer joining me on The Egg Whisperer Show to share her tips for top mental health as a fertility patient.

And, I love that she is explaining how to approach the whole picture of mental health: getting support, taking good care of yourself, getting enough sleep, finding someone to talk to, eating well, doing some physical activity, and finding an integrative psychologist to work with if that feels right.

As you'll hear her say, "For anyone who's listening, who might be having a little bit of a hard time with their emotional and psychological health: you're not alone. This is really common. And you should absolutely reach out to get the help that you need."

Dr. Anna Glezer began her training at Harvard and then transitioned to UCSF, where she had been a practicing physician, teacher, mentor, and an associate professor. She is board certified in adult and forensic psychiatry, a member of the APA, and a past President of the Northern California Psychiatric Society. Dr. Glezer founded Women’s Wellness Psychiatry to help women access reproductive mental health services and is really passionate about helping as many patients as possible. She is also the host of the Women's Wellness Psychiatry podcast. I'm excited to have her on today to talk all about reproductive women's mental health.
