Описание: Kenyan retailer, Uchumi supermarkets has rolled out a plan to swing itself back into profitability. This is after it announced a 31.4 million dollars loss after tax for the year ended June 2015. The plans, some which have already been effected include closing loss-making outlets. So far Tanzania and Uganda have been shut. Other measures include getting refunds from landlords after expansion plans were suspended by the supermarket's board. Julius Kipngetich, the CEO of Uchumi was LIVE in studio to try and explain the plan.
