The former Kwun Tong Public Cargo Working Area is now the Kwun Tong Promenade, which is situated next to the Kwun Tong Bypass. An area of around 4 Ha are covered by the Promenade.

Along the roughly one km beachfront promenade, visitors may obtain up-close views of the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Runway Park, beautiful nighttime views of Hong Kong Island East, and panoramic vistas of Victoria Harbour and Lei Yue Mun.

According to the LCSD website, the Kwun Tong Waterfront Promenade has several amenities including:

1000-metre long seaside boardwalk

2 Spectator stands (200 seats)
