Greatness That Serves
On this Wednesday of the Second Week of Lent, the readings contrast human ambition with Christ’s model of servant leadership. Jeremiah trusts God amid opposition, the psalm expresses surrender, and Jesus redefines greatness through sacrifice. Lent invites us to choose humility and service as the true path of discipleship.

Reflection: In what areas of my life is God inviting me to replace ambition with humble service during this Lenten season?
Prayer: Lord God, teach us to follow Your Son in humility and service. Free us from the desire for recognition and help us embrace the path of self-giving love. When we face misunderstanding or opposition, strengthen our trust in You. Shape our hearts to seek not greatness in the eyes of the world, but faithfulness in Your sight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
