The Giken and Kowan pile presses are effective in a wide range of ground conditions, generating up to 150 tonnes of pressing force for installation and 160 tonnes for extraction. When working in dense granular or stiff cohesive soils, auxiliary techniques such as low or high-pressure water jetting or pre-augering can be used alongside the pile press to assist with installation.
