Sonic 3: D.A. Garden Edition (v1.12.0.0) - Knuckles (Hard Mode) - Emerald Hill and Chemical Plant

Описание: I play as Knuckles through the unlockable Zones Emerald Hill Zone and Chemical Plant Zone in the latest version of the Sonic 3: D.A. Garden Edition mod for Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited. I play on the Hard Difficulty Mode.

The level layouts here are from an older ROM hack of mine titled Sonic 2: Return to Westside Island. Thorn has merged Acts 1 and 2 together, to create one cohesive Zone, made some further modifications, and then ported them to the Sonic 3: D.A. Garden Edition as an unlockable. Again, my thanks go out to Thorn for all of his hard work and continuation of the project in this way.

For Knuckles' hard mode, Emerald Hill Zone has an new starting point and layout (developed by Thorn) which is a bit more challenging than the original layout. Then, in Chemical Plant Zone, the layout changes half way through the Zone. The new layout is an adaptation of my winning entry in Round 1 of the Sonic Hacking Contest's Sonic Level Design Contest (SLDC).

The amount of work that has gone into recreating Sonic 2 Zones in Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited hasn't gone unnoticed on me. Playing through my own level layouts again in this way is refreshing and really shows the scale and scope of what can be achieved in Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited.
