How to Clean Clogged Fuel Injectors

First, open the hood and locate the fuse box. Identify the fuel pump fuse using the diagram and remove it. Start the engine and let it run until it stalls due to lack of fuel.

Next, disconnect the fuel line from the injector rail by pressing the safety lock and squeezing the hose coupling. It's recommended to have a cloth nearby to catch any remaining gasoline.

Disconnect the electrical connectors from each injector by pressing the tab and pulling the cable.

Now, you can remove the injector rail itself. In this example, two screws hold it in place. Use a ratchet and a standard 10mm socket to remove them. Gently pry the rail loose while pulling it back.

Finally, use a flat screwdriver to carefully pry out the injector fasteners. Remember to keep these fasteners for reassembly.
