Описание: This video is my demonstration for the Final Project of CS6250 Advanced Computer Graphics and Visualization course and it presents an Adaptive Octree-Based Isosurface Extraction system for visualizing antenna radiation patterns. The project demonstrates how adaptive spatial data structures can intelligently focus computational resources on complex regions while reducing geometry in simpler areas, achieving up to 75% reduction in triangle count compared to traditional uniform grid approaches. The implementation combines dual-criteria octree subdivision, Signed Distance Field generation, and Marching Cubes extraction with real-time parameter tuning through an interactive GUI. Key features include multi-resolution extraction, view-dependent level-of-detail rendering, and comprehensive performance metrics for analyzing the trade-offs between visual quality and computational efficiency. The system processes real electromagnetic field data from antenna simulations and provides dynamic visualization with customizable color gradients to represent field strength variations.
