The Apostle Paul (Chief Sinner)

Описание: The Apostle Paul was specifically chosen by Jesus to spread the Gospel to the world. He was a brilliant man who thoroughly embraced Jewish law and debated with Kings and Scholars. He called himself the “chief sinner” of mankind after persecuting Christians who followed Jesus Christ. However, God had a different plan in mind for Paul using his talents to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ across the globe. Gaining Roman citizenship at birth, Paul studied Jewish law in Jerusalem learning all aspects of the law. He perceived Jesus as a false Messiah until the risen Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus. Prior to this encounter, Paul used the name Saul but changed to the name Paul bringing the good news of Jesus Christ as Messiah to the world during the rest of his life. Paul embarked upon intense missionary journeys over decades across Asia Minor, Greece, and the Mediterranean. He encountered countless hardships including beatings, scourging’s, being stoned and left for dead, shipwrecks, snakebites, perils of travel, betrayal, deprivation, a “thorn in the flesh”, four imprisonments, and decapitation. He wrote thirteen (13) Epistles and finished his ministry stating, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. From persecutor to one of the greatest evangelists the world has ever known, Paul may have started out as a Christian persecutor but finished his life as one of God’s “Good and Faithful” servants!
