Dr. Beth’s recommendations for comfortable screen time.
1) Remember the 20/20/20 Rule. Every 20 minutes look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to relax the eyes.
2) Smaller screens cause more eyestrain than larger screens, so use the TV instead of phones or tablets when you can.
3) Remember Elbow Distance, hold screens at least the distance from our first to elbow.
4) Use reading or close work glasses if they have been prescribed for you.
