In the second part of our Folly Farm Walkthrough, we'll be taking a look around the vintage funfair itself. It was closing time and most people had already left, meaning we managed to get a very good (albeit very quick) look around without too many people getting in the way.
I love Folly Farm but definitely need to check when local school holidays are if I ever visit again. It was near impossible to film anything with unruly children climbing on rides I was filming and their parents shouting at ME for daring to tell them off (even though I had wasted money on the rides when their kids ruined the films). I would have got far more filmed that day if the parents had just been in better control of their kids. As it was, it took all day to film about half of the kiddie rides. I hardly scraped the surface with the arcade machines, and had no time at all to try out the fairground rides myself.
