Hi everyone. I'm Dr. [Yoni Alkin 00:00:03]. I have a doctorate in human sexuality. While studying human sexuality I found that our culture, and specifically dating culture, has so many difficulties and hardships for people. I got to know, through cuddling, I got to be aware of consent culture. I think it holds a lot of answers to those issues. I found that cuddling with Cuddlist made me realize how important consent is and how it weaves in and out of our lives constantly. By being a professional cuddler and by just cuddling more and more and practicing consent it allowed me to notice consent in my life and in other people's lives. It enabled me to ask for what I want and actually maybe even get it. Some things that I never thought that I would get I'm actually receiving because I learned to ask for it, just by that power. Not being afraid of getting a no. Knowing when to say no when I really mean no. Getting to know am I really a no to this or am I a yes? I'm not sure. I'm not sure because I'm unpracticed. If I cuddle, I practice. I love how Cuddlist brings that to the forefront and that's why I'm a proud Cuddlist.
