MornasEchoes is the sound of the wind through the willow and the ghost in the brass. Our music lives in the space between Dark Mexican Folk, Desert Noir, and Spiritual Jazz.

Inspired by the vulnerability of Lhasa de Sela, the folklore of La Llorona, and the improvisational depth of John Coltrane, we craft songs for the blue hours of the night. This is a place for the weary, the seekers, and those who hear music in the shadows.

Our Foundation:

Oh, Mother of the salt and stone Why is the wind so cold tonight? I’ve walked these dusty paths alone To lose the day and find the light.

The bells are ringing in the town But I am drifting past the shore I let my heavy sorrows drown Where they can’t hurt me anymore.

So let the desert take my name And let the water take my breath I’m just a spark without a flame Dancing on the edge of death.
