"I'm TIRED" in Italian: 10 colloquial alternatives in spoken Italian

Описание: In this new Italian lesson, I’ll give you some colloquial expressions you can use to say you’re tired.

--------------------------- SUMMARY OF THE LESSON -------------------------

The Italian adjective for “tired” is “stanco” (in the masculine form) and “stanca” (in the feminine form). In Italian, you need the verb “essere” (to be) to talk about sensations and therefore “sono stanco/sono stanco” means “I’m tired”.

Anyway, this is not the only way to tell people you’re not feeling very energetic. Let’s see some other popular options:

1. Sono distrutto/distrutta
2. Sono sfinito/sfinita
3. Sono stanco morto/stanca morta
4. Sono cotto/cotta
5. Sono esausto/esausta
6. Sono senza forze
7. Sono a pezzi
8. Sono alla frutta
