A lot of dead heroes back there got nervous.
The plot is based on events that occurred two years earlier, when a serial killer, Billy Cook, fleeing from justice after killing five people, kidnapped and forced two hunting motorists to take him to Mexico. they had picked up while hitchhiking. The murderer was executed in the gas chamber in December 1952, just three months before the film's premiere. One of the most notable films, as well as unknown until the irruption of domestic formats, of the daring Anglo-American personality of Ida Lupino.
La trama está basada en unos hechos acaecidos dos años antes, cuando un asesino en serie, Billy Cook, huyendo de la justicia tras matar a cinco personas, secuestró y obligó a que le llevaran a Mexico a dos automovilistas que iban de caza y que le habían recogido mientras hacía auto-stop. El asesino fue ajusticiado en la cámara de gas en diciembre de 1952, tan solo tres meses antes del estreno de la película. Uno de los films más notables, así como también desconocidos hasta la irrupción de los formatos domésticos, de la atrevida personalidad angloamericana de Ida Lupino.
