Tsalal (Canada) - Gazing Into Psilomelane (EP 2022)

Описание: The 7th release from the Edmonton duo, and this first installment of a two-part EP, "Gazing Into Psilomelane" is somewhat of a detour in the Tsalal's recent path, as stated by the label itself.

K.S. and D.N.E. continue to deliver their unrelenting, world-destroying form of bass-lead "Harsh Noise War Black Metal", however this time the songs are longer and seemingly more structured, with a multitude of layers operating. Besides the barbaric and unpredictable pounding of the drums, and the continuously pummeling frequencies of Bass annihilation and Noise barriers, the shrieking guitar solos appear here more bizarre and often, while what seem to be some subtile synth often sneak up through the layers of toxic fues delivered by the rest of the instrumentation, creating an almost out-of-body, psychedelic experience.
