He warns against the belief in gnosticism, deeming it a deception that leads to hell. He points to 2 Corinthians 11:12-14 to remind us that Satan can transform himself into an angel of light to deceive mankind, asserting that the "lady of light," as predicted by Chris Bledsoe, is actually the devil. He emphasizes the need for the Word to be deeply rooted in us so that we do not fall for such deceptions.

He also references Acts 16:16-18 to illustrate how gnosticism was an early church heresy that attempted to blend the faith in the resurrection of Christ with a special teaching that leads one to Christ consciousness or a higher state of being.
