Throwback to when I sung "Always Remember Us This Way" from the movie "A Star is Born" sung by Lady Gaga.
I love the rawness of which Lady Gaga plays the character Ally - an ordinary girl who fights hard to realize her dream of becoming a star.
The intensity of emotion really comes through on her vocal in the songs she sings in this movie and it inspires me to dig deeper as a performing artist.
To sing not from a place of wanting to impress but from a place of wanting to CONNECT deeply with the wonderful people who have shown up to be my audience.
