Описание: I've had a few individuals ask about what it takes to swap the rear housings on these Allison 1000 style transmissions. Essentially you'll need the output shaft, tone wheel (2wd) or blank spacer (4wd), and the rear housing. After swapping these parts with the rear of the transmission facing upwards, the transmission should then be turned 180 and the input shaft facing up. End play needs to be verified, generally everything is in spec but it's wise to check. Please do not attempt this swap while the transmission is installed in a vehicle, very easy for bearings to fall out of place and the sun gear spacer to slip off the splines of the main shaft.
