The Yamaha YUA model is one of the top Yamaha upright pianos. Based on & improving on the ever-popular U3, this YUA was built in 1982 & recently refurbished by Yamaha, in Japan. The additional X-Bracing provides extra tuning stability, while the Sostenuto pedal is usually only found on grand pianos. It also has a celeste rail for quiet practise. The moving music rack covers sound escape vents for added projection making the YUA one of the most sought-after uprights Yamaha has ever produced. This YUA has a wonderful richness to the sound, with very warm bass tones and clear trebles. The action is very nice to play, very quick and accurate with a great feel under the fingers. This is a particularly fine example of this great model of piano.
