I walk through Chelsea in the rain, one of London’s “poshest” neighbourhoods.
As I walked through Chelsea on this rainy day I decided to take a video of the ambience for posterity. It was a warm yet rainy humid day with no wind. I'm thankful I managed to capture the ambience with my iphone 12 only, as the audio has been recorded in stereo including everything around for an immersive experience.
Unlike with professional shotgun mics (often used in ambience videos on youtube), the audio in this clip has not been artificially pasted together from hot (loud) sources, but instead everything captured is exactly as it was on the day. I feel that many youtube ambience channels paste audio together ontop of video footage and it loses a sense of the reality of the moment.
In this video, you can hear the background noises as well as the rain on the umbrella, trees & pavements.

Temperature: 19 C
Unlike in USA or Austria, It is rare to come across a rainy day and location in the UK without wind noise.
