Got a chance to pass the San Juanico Bridge which is currently under retrofitting works (as of June 2025)
As of this posting:
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) imposes a 3-ton limit for the vehicles crossing the bridge.
One-way, stop and go traffic scheme is implemented with 30 minutes to 1 hour interval, depending on traffic situation.
Heavy vehicles like trucks and buses uses RORO routes as alternatives.
Pedestrians are not allowed to cross the bridge for safety reasons and would be ferried by light vehicles instead.
