OK, so this has been on my work bench for over three years... another labour of love. It's a reconstruction (from 17 sources!) of this iconic (but also elusive) quintessential Mack Sennett comedy. Ever since seeing clips of this on TV when I was a child, I always wanted to see the whole thing. Considering it contains so many iconic scenes, it's amazing to me it's never been available for viewing in it's complete form. Various 1 reel editions have been issued over the years - each one being a slightly different mauled edit to the next - in fact, there doesn't seem to be a "complete" print in any of the major archives.
Soooo.... as it's from so many different sources, the quality varies a lot, but the objective was to try and reconstruct the most complete version possible. Hopefully one day, there'll eventually be a proper release of a complete restored version. In the meantime, here's every frame of footage I've been able to find up until now. Enjoy!
