This is a reupload of my "Hello! Project Monologues (long)" and "Hello! Project Monologues (updated)" videos. They were originally uploaded on September 1st and 24th, 2017 respectively, but they both got taken down on June 19, 2021 for some reason??? After being up for 3+ years??? Either way, I took it as a sign that it was time to redo this video, so here it is new and improved, and with stuff from 2017-2021 added in.

So, a bit of a story time here, the original H!P Monologues project was meant to be a meme video. I basically compiled every notable speaking part from H!P song (any speaking part long enough or iconic enough was viable to be put in, idk my criteria was kinda vague tbh). Instead of making a generic compilation video, I decided to put all these speaking parts into a 4-way split screen and had them all playing at once to make it chaotic. That video is called "H!P Monologues (chaotic)" and was uploaded August 22, 2017, and is still up:    • H!P Monologues (chaotic)  

Before I uploaded it tho, I sped it up until it was incoherent and then put it to a pic of Saorin having an existential crisis in the making-of for Waratte in black and white, as a bit of a trailer or sneak preview, if you will. That one is also still up and is called "H!P Monologues (fast)" and was originally uploaded August 19, 2017:    • H!P Monologues (fast)  

Then, I had the thought that like, while I had all these speaking parts compiled, I might as well just put it together into a normal compilation video, but I didn't want to put effort, so there were like no labels or captions. Some of the songs were sped up, cuz of how ridiculously long the speaking parts were (as you will see here). I put Help me!!'s iconic speaking part first, cuz it had the vibe of like an iconic intro perfect for the start of the video I guess. This was the "Hello! Project Monologues (long)" video which was originally uploaded on September 1, 2017.

I remember, someone left a comment on the "H!P Monologues (chaotic)" video saying I forgot Shabondama, which was absolutely true. I remember when compiling every speaking part, I glanced over Shabondama and then moved right on, which is shameful of me. So, I reuploaded the long compilation again, but with Shabondama and the then-newly released Jama Shinaide Here We Go added in and a few songs sped up more than before. This was the "Hello! Project Monologues (updated)" video originally uploaded on September 24, 2017.

When I got the notification that the "Hello! Project Monologues (long)" and "Hello! Project Monologues (updated)" videos were taken down on June 19, 2021, my first thought was like why now??? and then my second thought was like well now I have a chance to re-do it but better. So, on July 11, 2021, I got to work re-editing it, speeding up and trimming down long parts or parts that got the videos taken down. I then went and compiled iconic or long enough speaking parts from 2017-2021 (all the stuff after Jama Shinaide Here We Go, which happens to be mostly BEYOOOOONDS content). I then added captions in the same Grinched font I used in my H!P Rap and other compilation videos.

So, July 11, 2021, I had this video rendering, and my slow laptop spent like 2 hours doing so, and then I checked Twitter, and saw that ANGERME released the new SHAKA SHAKA 2 LOVE Colorful Life Hen, which had speaking parts, which I had to now add in to the video, which I just spent 2 hours rendering. But, in the end it was for the better, because it reminded me I forgot the original SHAKA SHAKA TO LOVE, and it let me polish up the captions better and edit stuff more. It also left the new SHAKA SHAKA 2 LOVE Colorful Life Hen as the last scene, which is decidedly better than a still image of the Konna Hazu ja Nakatta cover art.

So, here it is five days later, uploaded on July 16, 2021. The new and improved H!P Monologues video, now renamed, "Hello! Project Monologues & Dialogues".

I will now resume my daily schedule of day job & staring at my phone all day.
