Apparently, this pandemic has changed many things, for instance a lot of things have belonged the new normal. The biggest effect that’s passed down to we consumers is the big price increase on our staple food. As if that’s not bad enough, all airfares have gone up substantially, as Tony Fernandes has said, “high airfares will be the new norm”. FYI, I also happened to discover the price of our local real estate since I was helping my son look for properties to buy in the Klang Valley. If there’s any consolation, our price is well under control, unlike Hong Kong and Singapore which have escalated considerably after the pandemic. I know you are wondering what has real estate got to do with my food feature. Actually, no connection, it so happened when I was looking for properties in Glenmarie, it reminded me of an eatery in that area that deserved to be featured long ago since they have all the quality dishes under one roof.
