This silver and white glitter Lake Life tumbler was created as part of a custom order — and it definitely had a few learning moments along the way.
My goal was to create clean diagonal shimmer lines across the tumbler, but the effect ended up more organic and blended than I originally planned. Not bad… just not exactly what I had pictured.
At this stage in my resin journey, it feels like there’s always something to sand, adjust, or correct — and this one was no exception. The cup tilted a little too much during one layer, which gave it a slight “bell top” that needed extra sanding and smoothing before finishing.
That said, the silver-white sparkle and lake-inspired details still give it a clean, bright look that fits the Lake Life vibe perfectly.
Sometimes resin humbles you. Sometimes it teaches you. And sometimes it does both at the same time.
