Karate VS the Haymaker | Practical Karate Ep. 2.1.

Описание: The Haymaker is thought to be a punch to the head that is suddenly thrown as a result of escalating social violence. It typically involves a big looping motion of the arm performed with full commitment of the body.

In Karate practice, the haymaker resembles punching techniques that are executed in a roundabout trajectory- hook punch, round punch, arm swing, etc. Hence, training to receive the haymaker can effective translate to being able to receive other similar forms of attack.

In Part 1 of this episode, we present our responses to the haymaker- applicable to other striking techniques that closely resemble it, relying only on our respective Karate backgrounds.

Our discussions also explored our varied experiences towards haymaker-type attacks, making for an enriching conversation.
