Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday, celebrating the lives of deceased loved ones, on November 1 & 2. Sugar skulls are common iconography for Day of the Dead. You can create any design you wish. I demonstrated how I painted one of the three skulls. They all use basic shapes and repeating details.
The DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic have better opacity, pigmentation, and flow than normal craft acrylics. A little goes a long way. I was sent primary colors, white, and black to mix for my own colors. If you aren't able to mix your own colors easily, this line does come in mixed colors.
Walnut Hollow and DecoArt provided me with their supplies.
