Join us for our latest modification episode to our 2006 Hyundai Getz 1.4 Nugget track car project. We have installed custom made race pipe extractors from mild steel fitted to our single hot dog resonator and high flow cannon muffler. The end result is a loud exhaust. Custom exhausts are one of the best low cost modifications you can make to a track car for instant power uplift and increased sound and feedback to improve driver engagement.
We take you through how these race pipe extractors and loud exhaust looks as well as in car and out of car footage so you can hear the sound difference. We have achieved good gains from this modification including increases in mid-range and top-end power and it also sounds a lot better than the stock exhaust which was dead quiet.
