Born in Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Presgrave studied with Joel Krosnick and Harvey Shapiro at the Juilliard School. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as Qatar Philharmonic, Orquestra Sinfonica de Rosário (Argentina), and Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira. Recent recitals include appearances at the Musikhuset in Aarhus-Denmark, Gijon-Spain, the Klassik in Moabit Series in Berlin, the Orchestrazentrum in Dortmund and the Kamper Konzert in Kamp Lintfort where his sound was praised as "broad and velvety" by the RP Zeitung of NordRhein-Westfalen.

Mr. Presgrave has taught masterclasses at the Sibelius Academy, Universitaet der Künste in Berlin, MusikHochSchules in Muenster and Essen, Estonian Academy of Music, the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Denmark), Escola Profissional de Espinho (Portugal), and the Conservatorio Superior de Musica in Oviedo (Spain). Fabio Presgrave is a cello professor at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).
