Ok, so bear with me here as I've ventured into something new. I'd really appreciate any feedback you have.
This Soothing Lotus noise marks my first attempt at blending subtle melodic chords, drones, and tones - essentially, a mix of healing music - with my usual ambient sound.
Why Lotus? Well, it's been a symbol of healing for centuries, deeply rooted in Traditional Eastern medicine and cuisine. It embodies purity in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, and its medicinal use spans generations.
So, my usual technique involves recording the lotus flower being brushed and rustled, elongated and filtered. Then, I've added melodic tones—those soothing tunes you often hear at spas or during meditation. Specifically, I've incorporated two solfeggio tones (528hz and 417hz) played on a synth, layered behind the ambient sound.
As mentioned before, the 528hz tone is linked to stress reduction and hormone level balance, while the 417hz is known for clearing negative energy from your aura and environment, promoting restful sleep.
This might be the first and last time I combine ambience with a melody, so let me know what you think! If it resonates with you, I might consider giving it another shot in the future.
