Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a series of documents during a Supreme State Council meeting in Moscow, reinforcing cooperation within the Union State framework. The ceremony followed extensive preparatory work by both sides, with Putin thanking participants and inviting members to a working lunch. Lukashenko said the leaders had set a new vector for integration and ordered preparations for the 2027–2029 implementation cycle of the Union State treaty. He urged officials to closely oversee adopted measures and thanked participants and journalists before formally closing the session.
