I was inspired by my junk journal prize and decided to make a journal for me to use when I write song lyrics. I already have lots of notebooks which I use for all different kinds of things but you can never have too many notebooks can you?
The base was made using cereal packets covered with some red paper I've had for years. The black card I used was from the charity shop my dad volunteers at (I have two packs from there!). I printed the decorative papers and used a combination of paper offcuts from past projects, A4 white paper and small notebook pages which I stained with teabags. The ribbon used was mostly pieces cut from clothes or remnants from other projects.
I wanted it to be easy to use and take places so I decided to make smaller notebooks which I can remove rather than having pages attached to the main folio.
