Great Central Railway Spring Diesel Gala | 26th / 27th April 2024

Описание: A very hectic weekend at the Great Central Railway during it's Spring Diesel Gala with two guest locos and two new home fleet units!

First (Friday 26th April) we take a ride behind Class 55 Deltic no. 55009 "Alycidon" in disguise as 55013 "The Black Watch" from Loughborough Central to Leicester North and back, then we do some train spotting at Quorn & Woodhouse Station after a short ride on the modern classic 153 Sprinter.

Then the next day (Saturday 27th April) we take a CrossCountry train from South Wigston to Leicester, then an EMR Intercity train to Loughborough Midland and then to Loughborough Central where we have a bash behind Class 31 31108 to Leicester North.

Then afterwards we head to Quorn & Woodhouse Station again for some more train spotting.
