I set up a still life in my living space to show you that it doesn't take much to get the ball rolling when it comes to painting with oils. I also walk through my techniques to painting - simple tricks that will help any beginning painter get a handle on the medium.
You don't really need much more than a couple of brushes, raw umber, titanium white, a palette, and a surface to paint on.
This video depicts the full process of painting, without leaving any aspect out. You see me go start to finish. I hope this in-depth approach is more illuminating and helpful than a time lapse or short cuts of a process.
